- 5 / 5By Virgil StoverWe were in the area going skydiving, which was canceled bummer! But got hungry and wanted a great place to eat that was a mama pop shop type cafe! We googled cafe and all the norms came up! Which we didnt want to go to. Then found the 16th street cafe on there and set direction to it. Upon entering it was an instant welcomeing. The amazing woman that checked us out was so friendly and welcoming and actually showed genuine care not just for our needs we were there for but also was interested in us as people. We met her son who is becoming the owner and is the cook. We got the omelete and my wife got the quiche! It was a fight for who was getting what lol alll the way to the end. The homemade salsa was amazing just like everything else. I think it should be jarred and sold. I want more. We will forever stop by the 16th street cafe when near or going through cannón city.May 31, 2016
